Niobium foil is a thin, flat sheet made of niobium metal. Niobium is a rare, refractory metal with a high melting point and excellent corrosion resistance. Niobium foil is used in a variety of industrial applications due to its unique properties, especially in areas where high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and electrical conductivity properties are required.
Niobium foil is usually produced through a rolling process, where niobium ingots are rolled into sheets of the desired thickness. The sheets are then further processed to meet specific dimensional and surface quality requirements.
