Molybdenum wire

Molybdenum is used in many different industries due to its extremely high melting point, low thermal expansion and high thermal conductivity.

Molybdenum wire is divided into spraying molybdenum wire, wire cutting molybdenum wire and molybdenum wire for electric light source according to the application. General molybdenum wire processing technology:

1. Molybdenum powder production: use ammonium molybdate or high-purity molybdenum oxide as raw material to reduce molybdenum powder.

2. Production of molybdenum rods: molybdenum powder is sintered into molybdenum rods after isostatic pressing.

3. Coarse molybdenum wire: Molybdenum rods are rolled into 5-6mm thick wires at high temperature.

4. Fine molybdenum wire: stretch the thick wire of 5-6mm once or several times, and finally make it into the size required by the customer.
