Product Description

 Niobium is a lustrous grey metal that is paramagnetic and belongs to group 5 on the periodic table .  High-purity niobium metal is more ductile ,  but 
 hardens with increasing impurity content .  Niobium is stable in air at room temperature , and is not completely oxidized when it is red-hot in oxygen. 
 It is directly combined with sulfur, nitrogen and carbon at high temperature , and can form alloys with titanium, zirconium, hafnium and tungsten .  It 
 does not interact with inorganic acids or bases, nor is it soluble in aqua regia, but it is soluble in hydrofluoric acid. The oxidation states of niobium are
 -1, +2, +3, +4 and +5, of which +5 is the most stable compound.
 The role and use of niobium are used in superconductors ,  superalloys ,  medical equipment, improving steel properties ,  and are also widely used in 
 electronic computers, radars, missiles, supersonic aircraft, automatic control devices, color TVs, stereo TVs, etc.
