The reason is mainly because of the high temperature resistance and low thermal expansion coefficient of tungsten materials, the melting point of tungsten products can reach 3410 ℃. In use, tungsten bolts should pay attention to their fragile characteristics, and are not suitable for use in machines with high-intensity vibration, but are more suitable for use in static environments.

Tungsten bolts are typically made from tungsten alloys in accordance with ASTM B777, 90% to 97% pure tungsten alloyed with nickel and copper or nickel and iron. Fasteners can also be made from pure tungsten.
